Trading Conditions for Lost With a Local ApS

These trading conditions outline the terms and conditions for booking and participating in tours provided by Lost With a Local ApS (hereafter referred to as "the Company"). By booking a tour with the Company, the participant (hereafter referred to as "the Client") agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 Booking Process: All tours must be booked via the Company’s official website, email, or authorized booking partners. The booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

1.2 Confirmation: Once the booking has been confirmed, the Company will issue a confirmation email with the tour details. It is the Client’s responsibility to check that all information is correct.

2. Payment

2.1 Payment Terms: Full payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or other payment methods as specified on the Company’s website.

2.2 Pricing: All prices are listed in Danish Krone (DKK) and include applicable VAT. Prices may be subject to change, but once a booking is confirmed, the price agreed upon will not be altered.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 Client Cancellation:

  • More than 24h before the tour date: Full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Less than 24h before the tour date: No refund.

3.2 Company Cancellation: The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, guide unavailability, or low bookings. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3.3 Force Majeure: The Company is not liable for any cancellations due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Changes and Amendments

4.1 Client Changes: If the Client wishes to amend the booking (such as changing the tour date or time), they must contact the Company at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour. Any changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

4.2 Company Changes: The Company reserves the right to make minor changes to tour itineraries due to operational reasons, guide recommendations, or unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be informed as soon as possible if significant changes are necessary.

5. Tour Participation

5.1 Client Responsibilities: The Client is responsible for arriving on time at the meeting point specified in the confirmation. Late arrival may result in the Client missing the tour, and no refund will be provided in such cases.

5.2 Health and Safety: The Client is responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the tour. Any health conditions or mobility issues should be disclosed to the Company at the time of booking.

5.3 Behavior: The Company reserves the right to remove any Client from the tour if their behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful to other participants, the guide, or the environment. No refund will be provided in such cases.

6. Liability

6.1 Company Liability: The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, injury, or damage incurred by the Client during the tour, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Danish law.

6.2 Client Insurance: The Client is encouraged to have adequate travel and personal insurance in place for the duration of the tour.

7. Photography and Media

7.1 Media Usage: The Company reserves the right to use photographs or video footage taken during tours for promotional purposes. If the Client does not wish to appear in such media, they must inform the Company in writing before the tour.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Data Usage: The Client's personal data will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy. Data will be used for the purpose of booking, customer service, and marketing communications (if the Client has opted in).

9. Governing Law

9.1 Jurisdiction: These trading conditions are governed by Danish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.
